GOD CALLS HIS PEOPLE TO WORSHIP
It is God Himself who calls His people to worship.
We come praising him, confessing our sins and the one true faith.

*Call to Worship  Revelation 19:5b, 6b-7a

*Reading of the Law   Mark 12:29-31

Jesus answered, "The most important is, 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."

Prayer of Confession and Assurance of Pardon

Leader: Hear us O God, most holy and most merciful, as we pray. confessing and repenting together, then silently,

Congregation: God of steadfast love and faithfulness, you are faithful to us and love us, but we have not been faithful and we have not loved you. You call to us by your Word and Spirit, but we have not listened. We have not trusted you. Therefore, with ingratitude we have walked in unrighteousness. Our neighbors have need of your love, but we have loved only ourselves. In our hearts we have loved what you hate. Help us to admit our sin, so that as you come to us in the goodness of your steadfast love and faithfulness we may repent, turn to you, and receive forgiveness; through Jesus Christ our Redeemer. Hear us as we come to you silently...

Leader: To all who are trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, hear these words of His pardoning grace: But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. - Titus 3:4-7
