The Boiler Room.
We enjoyed a wonderful evening on Wednesday. The international dinner was beautiful and plentiful, the children sang unto the Lord with excellence, the children learned pray and grew, and the adults were challenged and encouraged. We are thankful for our brothers who came to share with us from Woodruff Road Presbyterian Church concerning the church going global.
One of the exciting things that is happening in our conference is the children's ministry. Scott Dinkins, Julie Armstrong, Jacob Huss, Marsha Bradbury and a host of others are assisting our children in learning that life is ministry. An example of this came to fruition Wednesday evening.
Marsha Bradbury opened the "Boiler Room" to the children. This has been a long time vision of Marsha's and she had the joy of seeing it become a reality last night as the children bowed in prayer in this special prayer room. They are not only learning to pray but they are praying "holding the rope" for missionaries around the world and praying for the nations of peoples that God would be worshiped there. The picture was taken by Victoria Boyce and it gives you an idea of what is taking place in the "Boiler Room" during the Life is Ministry Conference.
Join us in this life together as we learn to do ministry together that we with the nations may worship together.
For His Glory,
