PRAISE

HYMN OF PRAISE  Creation Sings the Father's Song(Getty hymn)

CALL TO WORSHIP  Psalm 96

Leader: Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day.

All: Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods.

Leader: For all the gods of the nations are but idols, but the Lord made the heavens.
Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and glory are in his sanctuary.

All: Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound and all that is in it. For he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his truth.

CORPORATE PRAYER OF CONFESSION AND ASSURANCE OF PARDON

LeaderIn Christ, in the presence of Almighty God, let us with humble hearts confess our sins, so that we may be granted forgiveness by his infinite goodness and mercy.

All: Most merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole hearts; we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. We are truly sorry and we humbly repent.

Leader: Let us continue to confess our sins in silent prayer.

All: For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on us and forgive us; that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

Leader: If you are trusting in Christ alone for the forgiveness of sins, hear his words of pardoning grace: he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,  whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior - Titus 3:5-6
